Volunteering

Those interesting in donating their time and service can assist with:

  • Distributing food (3 hours, twice per month)
  • Unloading food delivery truck (1 hour per month)
  • Stocking shelves (1-1½ hours per month)

Interested parties should contact the food pantry leader Brad Mathison who coordinates our volunteers.  He can be reached at (715) 512-0264.

Donating Financially

We have partnered with Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire which allows us to receive food items for free and/or at extremely reduced rates.  Donations can be made through Community Alliance Church with all donations going directly to the food pantry. The Board of Directors oversees all donations.

Donating Food Items

Other food items, such as canned goods, are not available through Feed My People at the same reduced rates.  Food donations that complement what we can purchase through Feed My People are particularly appreciated.  Examples include: canned vegetables, canned fruits, soups, spaghetti sauce, etc. We cannot accept donations of homemade foods, opened packages, or outdated items.

Donating Personal Hygiene Items

Donations of toiletries (all types) are likewise appreciated: toilet paper, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers, etc.
